Ms. Moien and I are flying to SE Asia with Etihad. Previously, we have been in Doha and Dubai airports but did not get a chance to stay in any city.

This time it is different, since we do have enough time to stop over one night. But I wonder whether it is worth it or not to spend a day in the city. I would appreciate any opinion.

I have also been looking for information of hotels around town. Of all the ones I have seen the ones I prefer after having seen their web pages are Intercontinental and Shangri La. We are not interested in beach or pools. How is their location? Noisy? Are they near the Corniche / City Centre?
