Actually many things can affect how long it takes to receive an etkt. When your reservation is dropped in a queue its sorted by what type of notification (email, fax, or regular mail), travel date, whether its a reissue, refund, addcollect, reprint, rollover, and depending how many reservations are ahead of yours thats how long it will take for your etkt to get issued. Most of those queues are worked by machines and the tickets are never touched by an AA employee.
