Hi all,

Today I have received my Silver card ! (yey). However, there is a very worrying note inside:

"Lounge access is not available on Alaska Airlines or JAL - except when members are flying on a oneworld partners codeshare flight with a BA flight number prefix."

What does this mean? Does this mean if I fly JAL, I cannot go in the Lounge?? I am flying BA on Saturday, can I visit the JAL Lounge? If that is true then I am lost for words. Afterall, I live in Japan and my EC is registered in Japan...

I thought that as a OW Sapphire = lounge access....

EDIT: And the website doesn't say this, and its not in the T&Cs either (NB: The alaska note is on the website without details).
