She showed me the "long haul galley guide - auckland base" (think that was the title) - which is a great little book for the crew which has lists the meus options for each route with a detailed description of how to prep them and garnish them along with a photo of how to present them. All sorts of little gems in there which will influence my choices on my long-haul flights over the next few months !! Current cycle for 3 months from end of march apparently.

This is probably only of interest if you have an unhealthy interest in eating airline food like I do - but if you do its a little gem and Im sure you would enjoy reading.

Cant see any reason they wouldnt show you if you asked definitely worth a look IMO.

Also had the absolute worst Business class meal ever on NZ flying over last week - "Smoked chicken omelette with pesto and chicken sausage" I love airline food the good and the bad usually, but this was foul !!!!
