You are going to love this one. Earlier today (5pm pacific time) I logged on to the new aa.com and set up an automatic notification for a flight that I am going to take this weekend. Since the last notification I set up for a previous flight on the new site never materialized, I decided to use the test option to see if indeed the computer had my cell phone number. Guess what??? The computer calls my cell phone every 5 minutes with the announcement "Hello this is an American Airlines fight notification test". This has been going on for 7 hours and there is no end in sight. I have spoken with aa.com techs and they can't "believe" that this is happening. When my cell phone rang again and I let them hear the message they now believe me. They have been "working at it" for 3 hours and can't find a solution. I have turned off the phone for 20 minutes and...it rings again. I have turned the phone off for 60 minutes and the same result. I have deleted the notification for my flight and the calls just "keep on coming". As luck would have it the Big guy techs are working around the clock this weekend in preparation for the offical launch of the "new aa.com" on Sunday. They were notified by the "regular phone tech" and called me on my land line and have asked me stupid questions like "do you really know how to set up the notification? What did you do wrong? They can't believe that their new site "could have this sort of problem" and it might be a problem with my cell phone!!!! Good Luck AA! you are going to have your hands full with this new site. As I usually just "lurk" and not post often, I thank you all for listening to my plight. Do any of you have any suggestions???

P.S. Thank goodness I have free nights and weekend minutes on my cell phone plan!
