It definitely can't hurt to praise this crew officially. Too many crew just do the bare minimal, whilst others go to the extreme to provide exceptional customer service. Rewarding those who go the extra mile will not only enhance (oops, I hate using that word, particularly on the BA forum) their career, but reinforce to other crew that going the extra mile might be beneficial.
