Maybe I'm just a grumpy old git....

I’m just a bit uneasy when I read these posts gushing praise on BA crew. It seems to come as a surprise to some when a good crew are operating a flight….it used to be the norm for all BA flights no matter what cabin you were seated in.
One should expect good service from all employees who work in service industries. If they can’t deliver it then quite frankly they shouldn’t be in the job.

Personally, I save the letter writing for the times I experience poor service.
