Upgrade Award: not available?
Hi guys,


Can anyone explain to me something? I wanted to upgrade the leg DOH-FRA one way from business to first with QR, and I received the following reply:

Thank you for your email regarding your award upgrade request.

We regret to inform you that we are unable to process your award ticket request, as there are no redemption seats available on your desired flight.

As there are 6 out of 8 seats still available, I was a bit startled. How can one know whether "redemption seats" are available?
