LH MM Silver or Gold - the quickest/cheapest/fastest way?
Hi

24 hours on this board and already addicted to the information! Considering taking a trip to MUC/Airbrau on the 18th just to meet some of you guys...

This is probably one of those newbie questions, but I swear my spouse made me ask this:

What is the fastest/quickest/cheapest way to get FTL or SEN status on LH MM for someone who doesn't take to the skies that often? Is there some golden route that one can take for a day or two and acquire Star Alliance status*? Base is Munich.

For example, shortly she will fly MUC-PHL-MUC and has a day free in the USA during the visit - any way to extend that trip and squeeze the miles?
