I have stayed twice at one particular partner hotel recently - 20 airbucks per stay. Thinking that 40 airbucks would be added to my airpoints for the 2 stays, Airnz have credited my account by converting 20 airbucks to the New Zealand dollar (at the rate .78) which makes it 15.6 airbucks. Therefore 31.2 has been added instead of 40. Does this make sense.

I thought it would automatically add the stated airpoints as advertised. If this is the case do Airnz do this with flights as well.
What do you think?
