You'll find that when people have been legitimately denied service they should receive, we are quite militant about speaking up on their behalf. One incident with pb9997 being denied access to the AC @ LGA while on an int'l coach itin. comes to mind.
On the other hand, when people come in looking for support on unreasonable grounds, there's usually little sympathy.
In this case, it was the actions of a FinnAir agent the got the pax delayed. Why is he complaining to AA?
The fact that AA has offered reparations for a misconnect it had nothing to do with is already quite generous of AA. Trying to pry the $1500 out of AA just seems to be unreasonable.
