I think it is great that you are continuing to go to work - you have the right attitude. Whether Willie and BA have been heavy handed or not, the Union, nor the staff on strike are going to win this. BA are determined to see this through and apart from striking staff losing their pay, they will also be losing their loyal passengers. There is only so much passengers will take of this. They will eventually go and not return to BA. BA has always been my favourite airline and I really don't want to travel with anyone else, but the Union and striking staff are pushing me to move my custom to other carriers. I have a few trips coming up - one a long planned holiday to Hawaii via LAX and another to Ams. If my plans are messed up and I don't go, then I'm afraid it will be goodbye BA and that would be a shame, because like this original poster - I think BA cabin crew are the best in the business, but they must remember this is an airline in crisis, tryin to make cuts to save jobs and the airline itself. Carry on as you are and go on strike and the final nail will be in the coffin. It's a very sad tale and striking staff and the Union need to wake up and smell the coffee!
