Thanks for the reply, I actually wanted to do the day trip because i think you'll visit more fascinating places such as the blue mosque. But i do understand that i won't make it on time. I talked about it a a little bit in my TR (link in my signature). Perhaps the full day one, if it wasn't raining and if it wasn't on a Sunday would have been better but basically you get what you paid for and this tour was free so I would have to say that it was just ok at best.
As for leaving your bag, I was going to get to the airport early to try to check it in or stow it somewhere (had a full large suitcase) but due to miscommunication with TK my car didn't pick me up and I only got to the airport a few minutes before the tour was scheduled to leave. They told me to take the bag with me on the tour bus. Btw, the tour bus was basically a hotel shuttle bus but since there were 3 of us, tour guide and driver there were plenty of space for my suitcase inside the bus.
