Volcanic ash update, the Sequel

Unfortunately, it appears to be time to start a new thread. My trip to Dublin was re-scheduled as a result of the first eruption. Leaving on May 9th. I have been watching flights the last few days. Flight 722 leaving on 5/5 arrived about 20 minutes late. Flight 722 leaving on 5/6 arrived almost an hour and a half late. I cannot track 722 leaving on 5/7. They show tonight's flight as being on time, but it's very early.

This morning's flight 723 (the return trip from Dublin) left an hour and thirty five minutes late early this afternoon IST. It looks like the cloud is about to hit northern Ireland and Scotland tomorrow, though.

Spain was affected the last couple of days, and other parts of Europe may be impacted as well. Let's hope they learned some lessons from last time, when they were caught off guard.

Here is the latest news article: http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/...breaking4.html and these are the projections for the next 30 hours: http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/aviation...1273316351.png
