Hands down, Go for GOLD! It is very rare when I fly out of JFK and they aren't selling gate upgrades, which means all medallions have cleared. Ive SDC's right into first class many times as well out of JFK, which of course as Gold is free. My buddy is Gold Medallion, who has been flying with me a lot this year is 16 for 18 for upgrades. ^
