Two questions for AA flyer soon to be LAN flyer:
1. Trying to book one-way award in Y between CUZ and IQT, changing planes in LIM. AA tells me this is a restricted route on LAN and even though there are various, what would be considered normal, valid connections through LIM, it must be counted as two separate tickets: CUZ-LIM and LIM-IQT. This is strange... I'm checking and it seems that you can't even search for flights from any domestic airports to Iquitos except from Lima (the same thing happens the other way around, you can't search for domestic tickets from IQT to airports other than LIM). I have no idea why this is so but I'm definitely intrigued...
I checked the itineraries and it seems that there is a CUZ-IQT flight with a layover in Lima on Mon-Tue-Thu-Sat,
LP394... but I can't get LAN to price it... This is weird.
