It's not a class snobbery thing: if you have a seat in business or first then the amenities shouldn't be from coach. Call me a traditionalist like that. It's a joke. And on our flight there was no embarrassment about it...just the air that 'that's what you get from us.'
Would be nice to harken back to the day when the transpac crews cared...about anything.
That's too bad. The old blankets they had were the best airline blankets I've seen anywhere; they were kind of a semi-quilt and very comfortable, and I've commented about them here before.
Actually, I always wanted to buy one, if they would have sold them.
