Ok - I definately CAN'T go landside. I haave no visa.

But I gather from what you're saying that even at that time of the morning they should have security open to allow me to tansit from arrivals to departures? I don't mind sitting for 3 hours, I just need to make sure I'm not gooing to get off the plane and they say 'sorry - you can't go any further without clearing immigration'. That would be a disaster!

Thanks again for your input.
When you get off the plane at DME you'll start your walk with everyone else but you'll quickly notice a sign or two in english that says "transfers", this is where you will break away from some or most of the passengers and proceed to the transfer desk. They'll tell you exactly what to do and where to go... most likely it will be right back to Terminal A. When you get off of the plane, right when you walk off of the ramp you should see glass infront of you and seats on the otherside, that's where you will end up. Terminal A isn't overly special but it does have a few options to keep you amused. DME is actually nice, it's not the rough barren place you may think it is, even SVO is turning out to be a gem.
