JQ really isn't set up for paper ticketing so it is inconceivable that JQ requires paper tickets (smells more like electronic ticket cannot be issued because of a check for invalid airline codes, causing JQ to fail, but the rules have changed allowing JQ but the Aautomated system still prohibits it). JQ check-in is likely to have real problems with your paper ticket, suspect they will have to contact QF about it.
