Just noticed something on an upcoming trip in July on UA1 / UA2 (ORD-HNL-ORD)
For the meal service, .bomb is showing "Lunch, Refreshments" (UA1) and "Dinner, Refreshments" (UA2)
Has this terminology been around and I just failed to notice? I thought it used to be "snack" or maybe even a 2nd meal....can't recall ever seeing "Refreshments" before.
Any insight into what this means?
Also, just checked my iten for a TATL trip in Dec and it still uses the term "Snack".....
Anyone know what the difference is?
Interesting, my IAD-SFO June flight in C now shows, "Dinner, Refreshments" after having been just Dinner for some time. My waitlisted BOS-SFO F upgrade for this Monday shows just Dinner.
Perhaps these are part of the catering enhancements UA promised us this summer? I seem to recall they apply domestically, not just internationally. Could also refer to those new pre-arrival snacks referenced in another thread?
