Just want to share my recent experience at Sofitel Silom BKK 3 days mid-april.
I'm Platinum A|Club and i enjoyed all possible benefits :
- upgrade to executive floor
- club lounge access
- free breakfreast for 2 at either club lounge or restaurant;
- free buffet every afternoon for 2, free drinks
- free internet in room
- gifts every day waiting for me in room (flowers, desserts, ...)
- ...

I enjoyed as well a fantastic welcome and great attitude and attentions from all staff.

Then went to Novotel in Beijing, and Mercure in Samui : no upgrade, but sheaper price for the room and late checking (4pm, which had been very usefull for me this time), welcome drink.
Didn't ask for more things so don't know how much I could have get, but probably not a lot.

For each stays, double earned points and added to my account a few days later (except for mercure actually... still waiting for).

So yes, A|Club is a top program if you go to Sofitel in SE Asia at least, and not so bad with other brands of Accor. Haven't tried Pullman nor MGallery but will do next time.
