Exactly! CAK is the winner in this merger. We Northeast Ohioans will see more and better service out of CAK as CLE diminishes. That works out fine for a lot of CLE flyers, many of whom live closer to CAK than CLE. I'm already looking to book much of my travel on US ex CAK. CLE losing its hub is inevitable and won't be all that terrible.
Add to it the SR-8 improvements make it easier to get to CAK from southeastern Cuyahoga County and it becomes even more convenient.
FL and F9 may vacate CAK, but the others are probably still going to stay. I guess the big question would be what does UA do at CAK post CLE de-hub?
