Sounds like a great trip although I might try to spend a night or two in BKK...could give you a little better feel for Thailand although you really only need a full day to get through the city.

I am jealous of your hotel selection....Amanpulo is my favoriate place in the world. That said I might reconsider the HKG stop and stay at the Pen if its your first trip to asia it might give you a slightly more authentic experiance. I found the FS to be very nice but not all that different from any FS city property in the world
