Programs: Now just a lowly DL PM/1MM. This industry needs some competition. It's just not enjoyable anymore.

I'm guessing DL threw this out there as a way to free up some overhead space. AFAIK, there was no charge to gate check bags once the OH bins were full, so there is no loss of revenue.
