In most other programs I would likely complain about the opposite, but maybe there are too few Pandions and as a consequence very few SAS personnel know about this status. Compare this to Lufthansa HON where the requirements to achieve it and the benefits of being HON are clearly posted on the M&M website next to all the other statuses, etc - this helps a lot, added to the fact that I believe as a % there are a lot more HONs then EBPs.
Now this is by far an excuse. SAS should first of all let all their staff know what Pandion is as it's something out of the ordinary and something they don't advertise for the simple reason that it is a closed and very exclusive club of big spenders
There is no excuse for ANY SAS staff to not know what Pandion is and the card holder should expect top notch service at any given time from any given SAS employee.
