Now that checking in at exactly 24 hours ahead has become even more important (e.g., getting bulkheads, etc.), is there one way to check in that's faster than the others? For example, 1) enter confirmation number from home page, 2) enter OP number from home page, 3) pull up reservation and click "check in now," etc. Waiting for the reminder email is no good, since mine have been arriving around T-23. Also, when are you officially checked in? If I start the process before someone else with the same Elite level and fare code, but I look at the seat map before printing my boarding pass, while he goes straight to printing his bp, who will get the lower sequence number (and higher position on the upgrade list)? Finally, if I select "auto check in" for the return, but I'm on the website at T-24 of the return, will I do better checking in manually, or do the auto checkins get processed first?
