My return a few days later is leaving HEL for AMS at 14:20 and then AMS to CDG at 18:00... (both in Y)
Will I have to stock up from the lounge before moving towards the dep gate?
I'm too late with the congratulations,
Cupart, as you have added another 3 posts already.
Are you segment hunting or is it the Tuc you're after? You could have taken the AY direct flight, with a proper meal, and earned FB miles as well.
My experience is that the Tuc/Choco Prince offer is available in Y on flights < 90 minutes, most KLC flights included. For longer flights, there have been long debates on this board about what contsitutes meal times for KLM because that's when the sandwiches are supposedly offered. Therefore, it must be the case that KL define it as follows: meal time is when they serve the sandwiches
Conclusion for me at least is that there is no consistency. If asked I'd guess you'd get sandwiches (and potentially sandwiched also!) on the AMS-HEL flights.
The 09:35 CDG-AMS and 18:00 AMS-CDG are on KL so you'd seem to have a reasonable chance of your first Tuc expeirence(s) in years.
You know that there isn't much to stock up from the lounge? An apple perhaps. As much as I like it, I'd recommend not carrying the soup
