I will be in Kuching for 5 weeks in Sep/Oct this year, working at the Sarawak general hospital. Unfortunately their staff quarters are full, so I have to find my own accommodation. Does anyone have any recommendations? I am planning to go there for a week in June to try to negotiate cheaper prices in person, but would appreciate any input. I've never really stayed in one place for so long, but I assume you can get some good deals for long stays.

Doesn't need to be fancy, I'm happy with a hostel.
