As a UA1K I can't say I've ever seen anything to top the prompt response in my ~15 years of flying, so congrats to proactive GAs.
That said, I'd still be unhapy at having to sync contacts on my (newly replaced) Blackberry with those in my PC...
Soooooo, how about providing a platform/basket/catch device under the scanner, to provide a short fall. I assume the drop happened at the handover by the scanner.
