I generally fly on United but I've got a flight coming up from ORD to Paris and work is sending me on American (which is cool with me because I always like to see what the competition is up to). I think I can finagle my company into paying for the lowest coach fare that's upgradeable using miles and then upgrade myself with miles that I've had for a while.

I know on United, the lowest upgradeable coach fare class is H. Can somebody tell me what it is on American so I can make sure the travel agent books that fare class. Thanks in advance?
