My thought exactly. I've bought domestic tickets at united.com that were Continental operated code shares and gotten EUAs with no problem. I assumed it was the metal you travel on that governed the upgrade rules. The agent said it was because the ticket was on Lufthansa "ticket stock" so it couldn't be upgraded. If I bought at Orbitz it would be on Continental stock, I assume?
