Yes if they changed flights and she is now on the last one of the day, then you can call and have it changed. As mentioned, UMs aren't allowed to be on the last flight. Since it is a major change, you can change/reschedule your flights to whatever routing and time works to get her from PIT to ANC without any change fee or additional cost.
