I'm not really dying over the price/value equation.

Personally, I think most of the clubs are run down and poorly/cheaply appointed. Some of the staff are great, others are OK.

I'd prefer that the either lower the price and thus raise the pirce/value equation, or raise the price and actually make some effort to have "premium" clubs.

"Premium" is not what they are today.

I'd take issue with "most" being run-down, though of course as a life member I'm all for jacking up the rates and quality.

LAX T4 is definitely run down (though its gleaming replacement is now only months away), but LAX T3 is still quite nice despite its age. ORD H/K is showing some age, but ORD G and L are quite nice. All three clubs at DFW are nearly new, as is the one at AUS. The ATL club is top notch, and the SEA one too. The MIA and BOS and SJU and RDU and SAN and PHL clubs are holding up fine, as are NRT and LHR. JFK is in turmoil pending the new terminal. The PHX club, R.I.P., was clean and modern.

I guess we must not frequent the same outlets...
