I bought a flight from IAH to FRA (and then on to LUX) from Lufthansa.com, but it is a Continental flight from IAH to FRA. The flight showed up in my Continental reservations on-line. I clicked to upgrade it using miles and a co-pay and thought I was put on the waiting list. The new flight segment in BusinessFirst appeared and there was a notation under "Price" saying: "1 Upgrade Redward(s) 20,000 Miles". However, I grew worried when the miles were not pulled from my account nor was my credit card charged. I called and the upgrade generated an error when processing and actually didn't go through because the ticket was bought through Lufthansa (or so they say). They are trying pushing it through. However, I just wanted to warn folks as there was nothing on-line that told me there was a problem. Has anyone experienced this?
