According to a sticky on Cruisecritic.com, it seems Carnival is going to ban power strips and fans.

Not so much a problem, or is it?

On the last cruise we only had a single electrical outlet in the cabin (none in the bathroom), for our party of 4 people in the cabin. Fortunately I always have my USB charger / outlet combo with me, so we could charge our electric razors, mp3 players, cameras / camcorders, GPS units, Kindles, laptops.

I can't imagine sharing a cabin with 2-3 others and having to wait to charge my electronics.

Will have to seriously consider if I will cruise with Carnival again, if they keep this policy...
