The _Banking_Scot is 100% correct if you want to walk. An alternate option from T2->T1 is to ride either the McCarran Terminal Shuttle or the Rental Car Shuttle bus. Both proceed directly from T2 to T1. No one checks ID upon entering baggage claim. BTW, AC still flies into T2, but WestJet moved to T1.
