I know the trains I want exactly and dates/times etc and so would really like to book tickets before getting to Rome. On the Trenitalia website (I am registered there), I guess there is limit on how far in advance one can make a booking (the site talks of 4 months). My travel is only one month and 18 days away but it does not show trains for my date or travel. The site will allow me to book up to June 9th. I would really like to do this from here because I am going to be there in late June and it is considered peak travel season. I always worry about such things. From reading all the posts here it appears that it is going to be a futile exercise. Anybody try this in the last couple of months?
