Well I'm excited about this whole merger! I think it's going to be really great! I'm a very optimistic person and I see a lot of good things happening with this merger. So many people on here are just dwelling on the negatives! We should all try to look at, and think about the positives of this merger! Every open door leads to a new opportunity, right? If we dwell on the negative, then that's what we're gonna get...and who wants that?!

I am one of few UA 1Ks in IAH. I've been waiting for this since I moved to Houston. I finally don't have to go out of my way to fly UA and worry about my BIS mile. In the other hand, there will be MUCH MORE UA elites in IAH for upgrade seats! My almost perfect domestic UA upgrade chances out of IAH in the last couple years is going to end soon.
