You're right, customer service at this property is not a strong point. After several years staying there (if I have a competitive deal at the GH or SR I don't stay at the Sheraton), but still stay here from time to time. The staff is not rude, but they lack of the customer service attitude we expect. If you treat them with indifference, you should be ok. This is a property where you shouldn't get stressed about your benefits or expectations. If you set your mind that you will get what you reserved, then your stay will be fine.

Of course I would rank SR>GH>>SH, but sometimes rates can revert the order.
