Premium class on the coast-to-coast routes.

Well, My AAirpass price was *much* lower than $1259,70. Not sure if I should say exactly what it is. Like I mentioned in a previous post about AAirpass, I am fairly certain the per mile rate is negotiable (at least for big coroporate accounts)

Understand, the bulk of our travelers are flying those "short" domestic hops. A good chunk of our asssociates are Dallas based, meaning its not far to ny domestic destination, excaept Hawaii and Alaska, and I don't think we have any busienss there anymore.

I've never priced a ticket to London, for example, form say DFW or NYC. We do have people flying those routes. I have no clue as to what a last minute Y fare costs on those routes, but if its like you said, I'm sure AAirpass isn't the way to go. Its really easy to figure out, as our travel booking system will show the AAirpass price along with the regular, paid ticket price.

Still, having the employer give you an AAirpass is pretty cool, especially if you haven't hit an elite status. The perks are similair to AAdvantage Gold, but includes some other *good* ones as well.
