That is incorrect. You would earn 175% on Skywards, as well as the mileage accelerator bonus. At 28k, that's enough for Skywards Silver (though not much use if you're flying J). But more importantly, that's going to be enough miles for redemptions or upgrades to Australia or BKK/KUL/SIN, so I'd keep the miles on Skywards and use them for one of these short flights.
