Hey gang,

After reading up on the UDU, and how people were mentioning there are/were issues. Here's my feedback :-)

I was hesitant at first when I booked my ticket (flying CLE-ORD-DEN-PDX) because all these flights are elite heavy, and I booked this in L class, which means if you go by the pricing bracket, I'm pretty much second to last.

I was EXTREMELY surprised that United called and e-mailed me that I've been waitlisted on my CLE-ORD leg, but have been upgraded to C on my ORD-DEN portion on a 777, and upgraded to F on my DEN-PDX leg.

With that said, what are your experiences on the ORD-DEN trip aboard a 777? I've managed to get a seat in the first 14 seats of C class since I hear the service is more attentive in that section of C class. Not sure if that's accurate or not.

This flight also offers a dinner service. What is to be expected?

Second question is on the DEN-PDX trip (B757), there's no meal service, but it is a 3 hour flight. Is there some sort of hearty snack provided, or will there be only snack mix and drinks?
