Well I went ahead and have held space on HAL's Eurodam in late Jan. 2011 on a 7 night sailing from Fort Lauderdale in what is called a category IA and did cabin assign for a cabin on Panorama deck.

In this case the IA spa stateroom was only $15 more than the regular category I inside cabin so for location and the meagre perks it seemed a decent value.

I haven't applied deposit yet but seems a good value this far out so will likely go ahead. Am looking forward to spending some quality time aboard the Eurodam.
