Shouldn't be a problem. I got MVP status comped last year (am PLT on AA) and had to FAX in a copy of my statement. You'll need to have an Alaska FF# if you don't already, so sign up ASAP and then follow up with the info.

It generally takes about 4-8 weeks before the status shows.
