I don't have an answer to your question, but I do have an upcoming PNR with an LX segment. I was able to pull up the reservation and Amadeus locator by entering my AA PNR on Swiss' website. In fact, their computer displayed the a segment as waitlisted for upgrade (VIP hasn't cleared yet for second segment) which was more information that available on AA.com.

To be safe in the future, one should probably get the BA locator from AA Res. I haven't ever encountered lock-out issues using that method.
LX does not use Amadeus, they use the same system as AA which is why the two communicate so well.
GVA is offline
