I'm planning to go SEA-ARN rt Sep25-Oct3 with some slight flexibility (+-1 day) although I can not return earlier than Oct 3 (I'm attending a wedding on Oct2). I have attempted negotiations with the dance partner Sep24-Oct4 fare LK5NCE. OJ but no DOJ allowed. Addons permitted, but travel must be via the point of combination. No stopovers. YQ is $300 and all in it comes out to $1008 for the most simple routing, which sadly is the cheapest untricked option for those dates that gives full mileage to Mileage Plus.

I have been able to negotiate a $864 all in price on a different *carrier "and her friends" on my primary dates which as a bonus allows me to spend a full day with my (real) family enroute so I'll probably go with that. Taxes come out to $202 and I'm not sure exactly how much the YQ is for that particular itinerary, but similar more informative searches left me with ~$60.

My question: Is it possible to negotiate with the dance partner (possibly fiance by now)? I've done my homework and should be able to figure it out without any specific hints, but after a couple of hours I'm considering giving up. All I want to know is if it is at all possible to negotiate >50% with the dance partner.
