If you are paying £10k for a return ticket to LAX (or anywhere for that matter) there should be a specific channel for you to get through security quickly and smoothly, that you should be able to get served quickly in the lounge, that you should be given priority treatment in the spa, that you shouldn't have to board a bus to get to the plane etc etc. All those small things do make the difference.
Are you really paying 10K for F?
If you are my guess is you are one of the very few who are prepared to shell out that amount of money. I've no doubt all your wishes and more would be in place if there were a hell of a lot more like you flying with BA.
Truth be known your fellow F pax are more likely to be on heavily discounted tickets, op-ups, paid upgraders, MFU'ers or on full redemption tickets.
