These summer i'll be flying to JFK via IST from MXP.
While surfing the net the overall image of TK that i got is that they have a serious problem with time performance.

On my inbound flight to JFK i'll have only 1:45 hrs transit in IST. I read that IST is chaotic and unorganized. Since my flight will leave from MXP at 11 am i guess that this plane departs IST in the morning and arrives in MXP to make a turn around in order to leave at 11am. So if the plane is late on dep from IST or from MXP i guess that i won't have enough time to transit in IST.

Also on my return leg on TK 002 (B777) i read that because TK has few 777 and that these 777 are basically servicing many routes it usually late on departure at JFK.

My transit in IST as written in my eticket is about 11 hrs thus making me entitled to a free city tour of IST. Minimun connection time is 10 hrs i read to avail of the offer.
I have to get to the hotel desk in IST airport which i understood is past immigration.
If my flight is late and i have to pass immigration( where i read that it can take about 30 mins if you're lucky) if im optimistic i'll get at TK's hotel desk with 9 hrs left before my next flight. Can i still avail of the promo or not?
