I also checked for coach seat availability from Atlanta to Las Vegas for the month of May; on the days on which I would typically travel for a weekend getaway.

Two of us are flying ATL-SJU this weekend (Fri departure, Mon return) on A+ credits. If I recall correctly, I only booked about six weeks ago. I've also used credits for cross-country trips including ATL-LAS. Summer is peak travel season for all of the carriers. You'll have a hard time finding comparable rewards fares (25,000 miles) on DL or any other legacy airlines during this time. Say what you want about FL, I've been very pleased with them.
