Just had the same problem. Was booked NRT-ZRH-TXL on a Tuesday. A380 will fly NRT-FRA on Wednesdays, so called M&M and had the routing changed to NRT-FRA-TXL. Cost me €50 rebooking fee, but that is certainly worth it for me.
